The fuel pressure regulator is a device that adjusts the fuel pressure into the injector according to the change of the vacuum degree of the intake manifold, so that the difference between the fuel pressure and the intake manifold pressure remains the same, and the injection pressure maintains a constant value under different throttle opening.
Output characteristic
1.When the gas pressure in the intake manifold decreases (vacuum degree increases), the diaphragm moves up, the opening of the return valve increases, the oil return volume increases, the oil pressure in the fuel distribution pipe decreases, and the pressure difference between the intake manifold and the changed one is kept constant (0.25MPa).
2.When the gas pressure in the intake manifold increases (the vacuum degree decreases), the diaphragm moves down, the opening of the return valve decreases, the oil return quantity decreases, the oil pressure in the fuel distribution pipe increases, and the changed intake manifold pressure difference is kept constant (0.25Mpa).
3.The output characteristics of the oil pressure regulator reflect the relationship between the oil pressure in the fuel distribution pipe and the intake manifold pressure. The role of the oil pressure regulator is to ensure that the injection amount of the injector is not affected by the negative pressure of the intake manifold and the oil pressure of the oil supply system, but only depends on the opening time of the injector valve.
Working principle
1.The oil pressure regulator is actually an overflow type relief valve controlled by a diaphragm.The diaphragm separates the regulator into an upper spring chamber and a lower fuel chamber.The diaphragm controls the opening of the relief valve to maintain the pressure balance between the upper and lower chambers.
2.when room fuel oil pressure rise across the spring pressure is the force of gas pressure and vacuum, diaphragm upward arch, open the regulator valve, part of the fuel oil from ball valve by oil return flow back to the fuel tank and reduce fuel pressure, when pressure is reduced to the oil pressure regulator set on the system, the ball valve closed, in order to keep from the oil pump check valve to the pressure regulator between oil has a certain pressure.
